The Perfect Team

I'll bet, after the article by Tom "D1ablo" Newman on Tek-9, people must have been scrambling to try and think, build and train the perfect team. The article talks about how the mechanics of COD 4 and the current Promod has influenced structures in successful COD 4 teams. It just goes to tell, in a working team, whether you're the top fragger to the scraggler always placing bottom frag, it might just be in the way your team works out to win the game.

The Spirit of the Game

If there was any number that really counted, it was the number of teams out there. By teams I don't mean just another team that plays and joins competitions for fun. By teams, I DO mean a group of 5 people who play COD 4 competitively. They might not be able to win all those tournaments or even place in those tournaments, but they still keep up their edge and make sure they make effort to train, prepare for tournaments and perform their best. Perhaps more importantly, they are prepared to keep up the spirit that saves the game from being thrown into the waste basket labeled "dump your shit here. No thank you for your contribution".

That is the question that I'm posing to all you gamers of COD 4 and readers out there. Whether you play it hardcore or just play it with a bunch of friends who found it nice to play. What actually made you play the game? Or should I say, why do you actually play?
